Fifteen adult volunteer Leaders in Scouting from the Cayo District participated in a one-day Information Course for new Leaders organized by the Capacity Building Team of The Scout Association of Belize.
 
The objective of the Course was to give the participants an overview of the Scout Movement and equip them with basic information needed to efficiently and effectively organize a Scout Unit.

The Course content is centered on the Educational Proposal of the Scout Movement, information on the history, structure and role of adult Leaders in the Scout Movement and in the organization.

The training was conducted at the request of newly appointed District Scout Commissioner, Abel Simpson and under the management of Roberto Harrison, Director of Education for The Scout Association of Belize. He was assisted by a core of qualified Trainers.
