The main purpose of the camp is to give our Cubs and Scouts the opportunity to earn Proficiency badges and share a wonderful time before the Christmas holiday begins.
Attention: All Group leaders and assistant leaders
Date: December 12 and 13, 2009
Venue: Camp Oakley, in Burrell Boom, National Camping ground for Scouts.
Cost: The cost is $25.00, which will cover registration for the event and transportation from Belize City to Camp Oakley and back.
Each group will be responsible for the purchasing of the Proficiency badges for their members when they have completed the requirements.
Transportation will leave the Civic Center at 7:00 am sharp, and leave Camp Oakley on Sunday at 3:00 pm to arrive in Belize City by 4:00 pm All groups are asked to bring their camping equipments including tents, since there are limited cabanas for sleeping.
Cooking will be centralized. Leaders will be asked to assist in the kitchen.

The suggested badges for the Scouts are as follows:
Venture Scouts are invited to attend and assist in manning the bases at the same time doing a service that will count towards their Venture Award.
