Ranchito Government School in the Corozal District now has a Cub Scout Pack.
Newest members of the Scout Movement
In October of 2010, Ms Miriam Rivera and Ms Brenda Hall embarked on a journey that they did not think would hold on to them like this. They started a membership recruitment drive for the 10th Corozal Ranchito Cub Scout Pack. With dedication, they moved along, bringing along with them 11 young children and now the proud members of the World Wide Brotherhood of Scouting.
Leaders Accepting the Cub Scout Promise
"I Promise to do my best, to love God and my country, and to keep the Pack Law"
In the early stages of the Pack, the members have participated in activities such as night camps, National Cub Scout Camps, and more recently the National Scout Olympiad this year. They have shown persistence and worked hard toward becoming Cub Scouts. A great and special day like Baden Powell’s (BP’s) birthday was the date selected for these Cubs to become one with a great family of discipline and fraternal love.

The Cub Scout Law: "A Cub Scout listens to and respects others, tells the truth, is cheerful and friendly, shares with his or her family, helps others, looks after nature and is keen to learn"
On February 22nd, 2012, Scout units from the Corozal District, members of the District Assembly, and members from the National Headquarters gathered to witness this joyous occasion.
