Scouts help with Cleanup efforts after fire destroys homes in San Pedro Town

Venture Scouts and Field Executive Claudia Groutsche as the head to San Pedro Town to render assistance to the fire victims of that municipality. Thanks to Tropic Air for providing air transportation, Sunbreeze Hotel & Banana Beach Resort for accommodation, Boaz Golf Cart Rental for ground transportation, San Pedro Town Council and Belmopan City Council for meals arrangement.
UP-date, Venture Scouts from Cayo did their share of work today in San Pedro. Venture Scouts Blaine and Marleny Dominguez who are on vacation on the Island joined the group of five Venture Scouts along with Claudia Groutsche, Field & Finance Executive.
Ventures participating in the clean-up project are: Jennivie Harris, Juan Galvez, Kristian Tennyson and Karl Montejo from the Santa Elena Jaguars Scout Group and Omar Ruiz from Eagles Roaring Creek.
Day 2 of "Operations San Pedro Give a Helping Hand" started with a meeting with Mr. Jorge Aldama to coordinate the day's work plan.

The Scouts spent the entire week on the cleanup efforts.
