Nine youths (females) participated in a service project at Camp Oakley.
Starting from August 2nd through the 7th, the nine youths along with their expedition leader and school leader worked tirelessly to refurbish the obstacle course used year in, year out during Scout events.

Challengers painting signs for Challenge Run World Challenge Expedition provides educational expeditions in the developing world which teaches life skills and expands minds outside the classroom. The three to six week expedition also fosters team spirit and leadership skills.

Commissioner Thompson Ready to open newly refurbished challenge During the week of work at Camp Oakley, local Venture Scouts and National Scout Commissioner Patrick Thompson assisted the team of Challengers in refurbishing the roof of two picnic eating areas.
