February 18, 2011 To: Scout Association of Belize. Greetings, my sisters and brothers in Scouting, I wish through this medium to congratulate the Scout movement of Belize on the occasion of the movement 100 year Anniversary. As a former Scoutmaster of the 4th Belize Wesley Methodist Scout Troop, I am indeed proud to know that the movement is still attracting and maintaining committed voluntary Leaders. As a product of the Scout movement, I feel indeed privileged to identify my professional growth as a legacy of the training which I received as a member of the Scout movement . I still live by the Scout motto “ Be prepared” and I always remember the old saying “Once a Scout, always a Scout”. I urge all the youngsters who wear the distinguished Scout uniform, to be proud of their achievements and remember at all times to be a good example to their fellowmen. My best wishes to members of the Association and to those whom they serve. Elbert L.W. Courtenay
