At the last Annual Planning Conference held on November 12 - 13, 2011 in Toledo it was requested that a National Venture Scout Summit be held to assist Venture Scouts in better understanding the Venture Program and Awards.
The current Awards that can be earned and will be discussed are as follows:
There will be a session for any other questions or concerns that are facing the Venture Scout program.
The date set for the Summit is the week-end of January 28 - 29, 2012 in beautiful Santa Elena, in the Cayo District and will be hosted by the 27th Cayo Santa Elena Jaguars Scout Group.
The official Opening Ceremony will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday 28 at the Aguada Hotel in Santa Elena, Cayo District. The Venture Scout Summit will close off on Sunday after the Church Parade.
All participants are asked to bring their tents and camping equipment since we will be camping in tents at a farm near Santa Elena. Transportation will be provided to and from the camping grounds.
The registration cost is set at $20.00 per participants which includes three meals starting with lunch on Saturday and ending with breakfast on Sunday. Venture Scouts are responsible for their transportation to and from Santa Elena. The deadline for registration is January 25, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. Please confirm your participation as soon as possible.
