Official Opening of Scout Week and launching of Centenary Celebrations.

Scout Week is celebrated every year commemorating the birthday of Lord Baden-Powell, the Founder of the Scout Movement.  This year we are celebrating the week from February 16 - 22.  This year we are also celebrating our Centenary since the Local Asociation of Boy Scouts at British Honduras was duly approved on October 6, 1911.

The theme for this year’s Scout Week and Centenary Celebration is “One Promise - The Challenge Continues”.  Let us as a team work together to make Scout week and our Centenary celebration a big success.

The Scout program during Scout Week will build character, and promote citizenship by using the Scout Method - Learning by Doing and service to our community.
