Basic I Course
Friday May 16 through Sunday 18, 2008

Basic I Wood Badge Course will be held from Friday May 16 through Sunday May 18 at Camp Oakley, the national training grounds of the Association. 

This Course is the Elementary stage (Basic I) Training leading to the Advanced Wood Badge Course and is specially designed for Leaders who have attended an Information Course.

The cost per participant to attend this course is $30.00 but thanks to the Sustaining Membership Enrollment program and the Belize Scout Foundation, only an administration fee of $10.00 will be charged and participants are expected to cover their cost of transportation to and from Belize City.

The Scout Association will provide:
·         Accommodation
·         Training equipment
·         Course materials
·         Meals starting from Friday supper to Sunday breakfast.

Transportation from Belize City to Camp Oakley will leave from Scout Headquarters on Friday at 1:00 p.m. sharp.  This schedule will enable us to start our training on time.  Out-district participants (if any) who need to arrive on Thursday night and need hosting need to request this on time.

Please confirm your participation by submitting the registration form properly completed or confirm by telephone no later than Friday May 9, 5:00 p.m.  As in all other Courses participants must attend all sessions in order to receive their certificate of completion.  Only Leaders who have completed Information & Basic I Course will receive their certificate.

All participants should bring a Class A and Class B uniform to this Course since a uniform inspection will be conducted.
